An orphan girl without any resource to survive
Rama (name changed) was an orphan. At a young age she had lost her parents and didn’t have much resource to build her own life. She had failed her class 10 making it difficult for her to get some job.
Our team found about this situation of Rama and immediately decided then we have to help her.
After a lot of brainstorming of how we can immediately get her some help, we decided to train her on tailoring. For this, we arranged a sewing machine and help her get started.
At present, Rama used her skills to build a self employed business of sewing bags made from clothes and living a self dependent life.
A girl who got sold by her in laws
Divya (name changed) was made to get married at a small age of 12.
Her in-laws made her life a living hell. They troubled her a lot and eventually sold her in a different state.
She somehow managed to run away from that place.
When we found her, we thought of helping her become a government employee. However, she had not completed her education so we were unable to help her in it.
But our team was perseverent to help her out. So, we looked for a job which she could do.
Finally, we found a clothing shop where there was a requirement of a helping assistant. With initial training, Divya was able to learn quickly and now she work there with dignity.
