About Nivara The Team
Our team of volunteers is comprised of corporate professionals, top management leaders, entrepreneurs, academicians, doctors and college students. This diversity of expertise and experienced workforce makes our project impactful.
Nivara The Team is a registered non-profit organization & has been actively serving the underprivileged children and youth since 2013.
Our initiative started in the slums of Mumbai and now it has spread across 12 districts of Maharashtra to villages and tribal zones.
Our efforts have benefited more than 75,000 underprivileged children and youth till date.
These initiatives have been executed with the sincere and selfless efforts of 1000+ volunteers from B-schools, UG colleges & Corporate.
What We Do
We help underprivileged communities by providing them access to quality education, healthcare awareness and enable them to get employed.

Our Story
How We Got Started
The journey began when a group of National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets went on a series of social activity trips during their tenure at NCC.
They witnessed things like unhygienic conditions, illiteracy, unemployment, alcoholism, domestic violence, poor health condition during their cadet training activities in rural areas, slums, etc.
After a lot of deliberation, they realised that just providing some form of facilities will not help anyone in the long run, so they decided to take some initiative which can empower people and make them independent of anyone to lead a prosperous life.
The causes they found relevant to work on was Education, Employment and Healthcare.
In 2013, this group of cadets along with some more well wishers finally established Nivara The Team.
Where We Are Now
This initiative over the period received support from more than 1000+ volunteers and the overall reach of all the projects conducted has crossed 75,000 individuals.
We are continuing to work hard and fast to ensure that more and more underprivileged people become empowered, become independent and prosper in their life.

Applicants have to fill our form after which a personal interview is conducted and if the candidate is found having the required skills he/she is selected in the team.

We have a floating number of volunteers. But at any point of time there are 50-200 volunteers actively operating in various locations.
